Look what came in the mail? Tickets to watch a J League match! OH YEAHHH! |
Ajinomoto Stadium, Home of Tokyo FC. It was a match between Tokyo FC and Omiya Ardija. 18 August 2012, 18:30 |
Just look at how big and somewhat full the stadium is! There were 18,342 spectators that day. I WAS ONE OF THEM, HAHA! |
What would a stadium be without a huge screen, eh? |
The players of both teams warming up before the match. SOOOO EXCITING! |
Score at Half-Time. Tokyo FC 0-0 Omiya Ardija |
Final Score. Tokyo FC 0-1 Omiya Ardija Tokyo FC, Y U NO WIN? |
I loved how all the Tokyo FC players came to thank the fans after the match. #soccerSWAG |
Cue tears now! So touching, right? |
Not forgetting the spectators on the other side too! At the end of the day, I can safely say: I AM OFFICIALLY A FAN OF TOKYO FC! |
I must say, WOW I have never seen a stadium of such magnitude!
It was simply an experience I could only dream of.
I think what made the experience even more special was that I got to
sit amongst the 18,000 over Tokyo FC fans as they cheered their team on.
I know it sounds like something very common: Fans cheering their team on
But you don't really get that back home.
I guess there just isn't much support for local football.
So to be able to sit amongst the fans who were literally
cheering their lungs out throughout the ENTIRE MATCH?
Yes, I would safely say that it was an experience and feeling that
I would continue to hold onto for a VERY long time.
